Biosketch
Hassan Issa, MD, is a medical oncologist. He received his medical degree in 2003 from Tichreen University, School of Medicine in Latakia, Syria. He started residency training in Laboratory Medicine in Syria before he moved to the United States in 2006. He did his internal medicine residency at Unity Health System Internal Medicine Residency Program, an affiliate with the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Then he worked as a hospitalist with teaching roles at multiple academic sites before going back to training at the Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Toledo. He is currently working as a medical oncologist at the West Michigan Cancer Center. His main interest is taking care of hematologic malignancies.
